The Cedar Valley Sports Commission - in partnership with the Waterloo and Cedar Falls Convention and Visitors Bureaus - offers a wide range of services to make it easier to plan and implement your event.

Pre-Event Services

• Assisting in bid proposals and presentations
• Arranging for venue inspections
• Securing room blocks from area hotels
  
• Writing and distributing news releases to area, statewide and regional media
  
• Assisting in recruiting volunteers
  

Event Services

• Helping plan off-site activities for participants and their families
• Setting up a visitor information area to serve participants and their guests

Funding & Grants

The Cedar Valley Sports Commission offers programs designed to stimulate development, interest and participation in events and projects within the Cedar Valley. We are currently offering a grant application eligible to those organizations within our represented area (within 25 miles of Waterloo/Cedar Falls or those outside that area holding events within the Waterloo/Cedar Falls metro area) for projects that fall within the scope of our purpose and mission.
