The Cedar Valley is home to many unique and well-appointed athletic facilities, offering top-tier amenities for athletes and spectators alike.

UNI-DOME
Located on the Campus of the University of Northern Iowa, the UNI-Dome features 80,000 sq. feet of floor space (turf or hard floor) and more than 16,000 permanent seats.
The UNI-DOME is an ideal venue for football, indoor track and field, indoor soccer and large wrestling events.

CEDAR VALLEY SPORTSPLEX
Located in Downtown Waterloo the Cedar Valley Sportsplex features two full size basketball / volleyball courts and nearly 30,000 sq. ft field house with artificial turf.
The Sportsplex is an ideal venue for youth indoor soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball and small wrestling tournaments

UNI WELLNESS AND RECREATION CENTER
The University of Northern Iowa Wellness and Recreation Center features 10 full-size basketball and volleyball courts and an eight-lane 25-meter competition pool with 1 meter and 3 meter diving boards.
The WRC is an ideal venue for large youth basketball and volleyball tournaments and swim meets.

YOUNG ARENA
Located in downtown Waterloo, Young Arena is home to the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Hockey League. It features an Olympic-sized ice rink, 3,500 permanent seats, and a versatile insulated ice cover, making it an excellent venue for both hockey and wrestling, with space for up to eight 42′ x 42′ mats.

CEDAR VALLEY YOUTH SOCCER COMPLEX
The complex features 11 full-size competition fields, four practice fields, permanent restrooms, concessions, and ample parking. In addition to hosting youth tournaments and recreation leagues, it serves as the home field for the University of Northern Iowa Women’s Soccer Team.

RIVERFRONT SPORTS PARK
Riverfront Sports Park in Waterloo consists of 8 youth baseball / softball diamonds all of which were completely renovated in 2012.
Every field has permanent fencing, covered dugouts and electronic scoreboards. The complex also offers permanent restrooms and concessions.

BIRDSALL PARK SOFTBALL COMPLEX
Located in Cedar Falls, the Birdsall Park Softball Complex consists of 5 softball / baseball diamonds. The complex also has permanent restrooms and concessions.
HOING-RICE COMPLEX
The Hoing-Rice Complex in Waterloo includes five 300-feet fenced fields and is ideal for adult slow-pitch softball or youth baseball. Three fields are lighted and the complex includes permanent restrooms and concessions.

WATERLOO CONVENTION CENTER
Located in Downtown Waterloo, the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center features a 20,000 sq ft. Exposition Hall that has proven to be a great venue for gymnastics, wrestling and MMA events as well as large-scale billiards and darts tournaments.

MCLEOD CENTER
Located on the University of Northern Iowa campus, the McLeod Center is a 6,650-seat arena and home to UNI’s basketball, volleyball, and wrestling programs.
Featuring a full-size court, it is ideal for small tournaments or as a championship venue for larger events.

THE “W” AT WARTBURG
Located on the Wartburg College campus in Waverly, The “W” wellness and rec center features a spacious field house for basketball, volleyball, wrestling tournaments, and indoor track & field events. It also includes a competition gymnasium, serving as the home court for the NCAA Division III Wartburg Knights athletic programs.

WALSTON-HOOVER STADIUM
Located on the Wartburg College campus in Waverly, Walston-Hoover Stadium features a lighted field-turf football field with 3,000 permanent seats, concessions, and video scoreboard.
It also includes an 8-lane competition track that has hosted the NCAA Division III National Championships.

BYRNES PARK TENNIS CENTER
Located in Waterloo, the Byrnes Park Tennis Center includes 16 outdoor Tennis Courts (6 lighted) as well as permanent restrooms and concessions.
Byrnes Tennis Center has hosted the Iowa HS State Championships, Missouri Valley Conf. Championships and various USTA amateur regional events.

UNI TENNIS COMPLEX
Located in Cedar Falls at the University of Northern Iowa, the UNI Tennis Complex features 8 lighted hard surface tennis courts.
The courts were constructed new in the summer of 2018.

NATIONAL CATTLE CONGRESS
Located in Waterloo, the National Cattle Congress offers multiple venues for a variety of events. The NCC has hosted Motocross Racing, High School Rodeo Championships, Barrel Racing Championships, Boxing Championships, Wrestling Tournaments and Flat-Track Roller Derby Bouts.

KRUGER-HEMMEN SPORTS COMPLEX
Located in Dike, the Kruger-Hemmen Sports Complex features 4 youth baseball fields. The complex includes the fields, permanent concession stand, and permanent restrooms.
The complex opened new in 2017.
